Screpino

Screpino is a crepe with a fine grain — enough texture to hold a lapel and a shoulder, none of the stiffness of a canvassed cloth. It is what the tuxedo jackets are cut from.

Matte, deep in colour, and it photographs well, which is not true of every black fabric.
